So, I launched my photography website.
Go see!
Use a lot of tabs in Firefox? Tired of waiting for them to load when loading Firefox up? Use this about:config tweak to stop them loading on startup:
Set “browser.sessionstore.max_concurrent_tabs” to 0
Done.
With the recent announcement of the Motorola Xoom tablet running honeycomb featuring a hardware barometer, the tech bloggers were surprised to hear the addition of the barometer.
A barometer predicts the weather. Remember those things your grandparents used to have in their hall way or living room? Well, they have never really been brought into the consumer digital age. With a barometer being built into internet connected devices, Google may create Google weather - a hyper local weather forecast platform. Imagine this: a frequently updated weather forecast specifically for your location down to the nearest meter, even if you don’t have a barometer enabled device.
Crazy, right?
So basically, a 7” Motorola Xoom.
CES 2011 is just around the corner, rumours are already running wild and leaks are already bombarding the tech blogs.
Here are my predictions of what will might appear at CES 2011:
I’m really excited about the growing population of Android based devices and can not wait for news of new mobile handsets.
I wish that:
Google releases Gingerbread OTA for the Nexus One
Mozilla release Firefox (aka Fennec) beta 3 for Android
Microsoft give away an indie title on XBLA
Steam give away an indie title
I don’t ask for much, right?
So yesterday I went out into our back yard and created a Snowdroid and here is the result.. (full slideshow in link)
Nikon 50mm 1.2 lens
Nikon SB800/SB900 (secondary offboard flash)
Nikon MB-D10 AA battery holder (http://www.nikond700.com/gfx/review/MB-D10_with_AA_batteries.jpg)
Lumiquest softbox LTP Drobo with drives (4x 1/1.5 TB)
Infinite hugs
Eternal happiness
Thanks.
